PlayStation State of Play

Sony announced a surprise State of Play livestream this week which mainly showcased third-party developers. Whilst there was no big reveal like the last stream, Sony treated us to a glance at some interesting game updates and a couple of new reveals. If you weren’t able to tune in on Wednesday, here’s a brief summary of what you might’ve missed:

  • Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach set for 16th December 2021 release

Releasing to rave reviews earlier this month, Metroid Dread is the long-awaited instalment in the 2D Metroid series promising thrilling platformer action and cunning boss fights.

Apple Music Arrives for PlayStation

Earlier this month, we reported on a rumour that the Apple Music streaming service was coming to PlayStation consoles. It turns out that rumour was true. PS4 and PS5 users can now link their account to their console, with millions of songs available to stream while you play.
